Thank you all!!

Here is our happy little boy home at last!  He LOVES his baby swing!

Home at Last!

Gideon has made it safely home! He reached all his goals in getting off oxygen, feeding tubes, lights, and was doing great so Mother's Day he got to come come with his family for the first time. They are so happy to have him there. Rachel says it sure beats living at the hospital! Congratulations to the Whitchurch family for enduring it all so well and having such a happy ending.

Update!

Gideon is 3 weeks old and now a whopping 4 lbs. He is still in the NICU, growing and learning, getting help with oxygen, warmth and feeding until he is able to do those things on his own. His parents are there with him at least twice a day and love that little guy more than they could ever imagine. Through all their struggles, they are grateful for all the love and support from everyone!

The Stroller!

Rachel with her new stroller! She is soooo excited for Gideon to get to use it when he comes home. He's still in the NICU trying to grow and develop more before he can come home. Thanks to everyone for your support, prayers, and donations so far.

Back Home

Rachel gets to go back home today from the hospital for the first time in almost 6 weeks. Baby will likely stay in the NICU for a few more weeks but is already proving to be an over-achiever and exceed everyone's expectations...just like his older brother. This family is amazing! I will leave the blog open to donations for a couple more weeks for those that asked me to. Then, we get to send the fun gifts their way! We have raised enough for the stroller and are halfway to getting the baby swing as well:)

Happy Birthday to Baby Boy!

Rachel had her baby TODAY! He is a beautiful little 3 lb. premie miracle. They are naming him Gideon Marcus Whitchurch.
